Illusion

OKAY, FIGURE THIS ONE OUT . . . .

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift."
A. Einstein

This has to be the best illusion ever created.

If you look at the images below from your seat close to the computer, Ms. Angry is on the left, and Ms.Calm is on the right.

Get up from your seat, move back 12 feet and, PRESTO, they switch places!!

It is said this illusion was created by Phillippe G.Schyns and Aude Oliva of the University of Glasgow.

Do we sometimes not see what's actually there?

Here's another.

Stare at the four dots for 30 secs, then look away and look at a wall (white preferably) and you'll see someone you know.

Last one is nice, just shows how receptable we are for illusions or the other way around.

Excellent, Al. It has been oft-stated that witnesses are just plain not reliable when recounting what they saw. This just reinforces that claim.
