Rose Gold Sky Dweller on Oysterflex

Any owners here?

Cant find much in the forum search apart from sellers.

Looks great with the Rhodium dial (and Chocolate).

Looks more versatile and semi sporty on the Oysterflex (don’t think I could pull off an entire RG watch)

I have the YG black face on OF - love it to bits. OF lightens the whole watch up a bit so is easier to wear rather than a full PM watch / bracelet. They are quite difficult to find as becoming rather desirable, depending on your country. USA seems to be a bit easier for SkyD from what others have found in these forums.

Great watch and shot! What do you think about it after owning for a bit? Wear it often? Comfortable and how is holding up?

Usually wear it 50/50 with my 126715. Absolutely love everything about it. The heft, the chocolate/RG combo, find it very comfortable, and it’s holding up just fine. Granted I work in a office.

Not a fan of oysterflex. I’d go all gold for the money like Anthony

SkyDweller is simply amazing in any form. Excellent design and technical movement. Very pleased with the SS version. RG and oyster flex seems like a winning combo.

Hi guys,

Any idea how much to change the strap of my RG SkyD to RG oysterflex? Seems very nice to have it on RG as well.

The chocolate dial is more popular than the Rhodium now.

Its selling for more on the gray market now too from what I am seeing.

Not an owner, sadly, but I love it. I agree with your thoughts about toning the whole thing down, which is about the only way it would work for me.

I'd probably have one, but I'm loaded up with OF right now.

Between the chocolate and the rhodium, I'd probably go rhodium, but they're both stellar.

You can tell by responses here (and many threads on this topic) that there isn't much "grey area" with respect to people's feelings about this combo. I suspect I could be included in this grouping as well. I've had two different solicitations by two different ADs to purchase a rose gold with chocolate and a rose gold with slate on OF. I just can't get "right" with this watch model on OF, but as others have also said - a full bracelet is "a lot" to wear in this instance. Instead, I've opted to hunt a rose gold Daytona on OF 116515LN, as it seems to be better married with the OF, just my opinion.

The full RG bracelet version with rhodium dial is my favorite Sky D PM combo. Also, my fav RG/dial combo among all models…excluding meteorite of course

I have the one on bracelet and first thoughts when it came out on OF that it would look wrong.
After seeing it it’s absolutely gorgeous. Obviously the OF with it’s Ti core is a different beast than all the other aftermarket rubber straps.
Good choice

Looks amazing! How’s the oysterflex on this model? I keep going back and forth whether I should go for full RG or OF skydweller….

If you have the option ALWAYS repeat ALWAYS go the full gold bracelet. You can always swap it out to a aftermarket rubber like Horus or some other high quality one.

On Oysterflex you can never get a full gold bracelet.

I learnt the hard way many years ago and will never make that mistake again.

I tried both. The full bracelet with this watch was too heavy for me. The oysterflex with gold buckle has perfect balance and for me it dresses down and up with more agility than full bracelet. I love it. Probably my favorite of 12 watches and somehow one of the most versatile.

I’m torn between the full bracelet RG Chocolate and RG Rhodium Skydweller. Seem to be leaning towards the Rhodium. What made you choose the chocolate dial, if I may ask?

For me I just don’t/didn’t think the Rhodium got on well with Everose and after seeing so many Rolex combos of RG and Chocolate in the DD and Daytona I couldn’t resist

I eventually added a 515 with a Chocolate dial also

But get what you like is what’s my important
