Caution ! RCAMBRID was hacked.

I got a PM from RCAMBRID about watch he was selling after he saw i was looking for this particular watch in a Post. He included his email and said to email him so he could send high quality pictures. I made an offer and he accepted then declined PAYPAL and was trying to trick me into wiring the money. Scammer claims the watch was 1 month old but the photos he sent were taken in March 2018. I called him out and now he went silent of course.

WATCH OUT PEOPLE , THIS SITE IS FILLED WITH HACKED ACCOUNTS AND SCAMMERS !!!! BE VERY CAREFUL .

Moderators, please inform RCAMBRID of his compromised account.

Its a proven fact that there are compromised accounts. Just read the daily horror stories. Be very careful.

They are compromised because people don't use their heads and login in on phishing sites or by potential buyers not double checking email addresses with the seller. Do your homework, and don't take shortcuts, especially when sending thousands of dollars to a stranger. To say the forum is FULL of scammers is not true. I would choose my words more correctly...

Agree 1000%. In addition and we can’t say it enough, if there’s phishing, a hacked account or anything not proper REPORT TO THE MODERATORS USING THE RED TRIANGLE, these situations are extremely time sensitive. It’s fine to PM a mod or start a thread but first and foremost report the problem via the triangle. This report goes to all the moderators immediately and can be acted upon sooner than if you start a thread or send a pm to one moderator.

TRF is NOT Chronocentric. Just has its fair share of careless members who click on links and provide their login details. Totally avoidable

How does one go about reporting a private message a scammer sends? I don't see the red triangle available.

its NOT on PM
But on every posted thread (bottom left)
So make your post (as you did)
Then IMMEDIATELY click the warning triangle - that then gets attention of all mods who can handle immediately

What date was that he sent the PM or was it an email?

This account was verified and reinstated on the 10th Jan, so was it after that?
