In my opinion the best rhythm guitarist and riff writer that ever lived , he had dementia for the last few years so ac/dc died back then , RIP!

Great simple hard rock band. The Bon Scott era before they became commercially successful was my favorite.

RIP - amazing group in their day - believe he was main force in the band

Me too. Apart from back in black / for those about to rock (the song) - output wasn't up to much for 35 years. Just wished they'd quit while ahead.

Shit! its been a bad year for rock ....Tom Petty was just last month....Rock on dude!
I liked the Bon Scott era best and B & B but they really should have hung it up 20 years ago.

Brian Johnson called it quits earlier in the year because of hearing problems due to all the shows.

I saw them at the Cap center in Landover Md in the early eighties and they finished up with “For those about to rock”. Still remember walking outta there and my ears rang for what seemed forever. RIP.

Sad to hear that. I have a good friend who is a really big fan of AC/DC. Every time I visited his house (man, that was what 30 years ago?) it’s AC/DC that the played on the stereo.
RIP Malcolm.

George, Malcolm and Angus, what a talented bunch of guys.
Sad to see Malcolm go so early with such a horrible illness.

For those about to rock was the loudest concert I’ve been to and I’ve seen most big bands
