Newbie looking to buy from a listing on this forum

Hello all,

Am new to the forum but been an unregistered lurker for a while. Am about to make my first online purchase from a private party who’s listed a watch for sale and am kinda nervous. Any tips on how I should approach this?

Seller has offered to take it to RSC to get a print out to prove authenticity.

Much appreciated.

Yes make sure the seller is well known with solid feedback. I personally won't experiment ever with new sellers.

Welcome to TRF!

Welcome. Read the reviews and you will know which Trusted Sellers do the most business. The reason is they have the best reputation. Buy the Seller and you will have no issues.

Thanks for the input everyone!

Still waiting to see if the RSC report is good/legit.

Welcome! You've really got to go with your gut here. Trusted sellers make it easier, but I've read where people have gotten screwed by "trusted" sellers.... So again, gut.

Welcome! Buy from a brick & mortar store and pay with a credit card. Don't try to save a few bucks buying online.

True, brick and mortar very safe but so are some of our trusted sellers here. I've purchased watches from Takuya, Just Rolexes, Sean Landsnaes, just to name a few. All great transactions. Saved about 1,500.00 on last AP purchase from best deal I could find at B&B.
