For sale is a near mint condition 44.25mm black ceramic Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon. The 311.92.44.30.01.001 was originally purchased in the summer of 2019 from a US AD and comes with box and papers. Included in the set are triple boxes, black leather card holder, warranty card, pictogram card, instruction manual, serialized hang tag, polishing cloth, and soft travel pouch. The Omega features a black skeletonized dial showing off the movement, which has been laser-ablated to resemble the moon’s surface. The dial has luminous hands and hour markers, yellow accents, chronograph sub-dials at 3 and 6, and continuous seconds at 9. The brushed black ceramic case has polished accents and a ceramic tachymeter bezel. The Speedmaster is mounted on an OEM perforated black leather strap with a yellow rubber interior, which is secured by a polished black ceramic tang buckle. The strap shows very little signs of wear, but there is a tiny scuff just inside the upper left lug near 11 o’clock. The movement used in the 31192443001001 is the manually wound Omega Calibre 1869 which features 48 hours of power reserve and can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback. The back of the watch is engraved with “APOLLO 8, DEC 1968”, “DARK SIDE OF THE MOON”, and “WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.” Overall the Speedy is in near mint condition and appears to have been worn sparingly by its previous owner.
