Yes, buy the one you like most and the one that really appeals to you. Imo, the models with rose gold looks really neat.

Welcome to the madness....bwahahahahaha.

For me, simple is better for Panerai, but that said the 88 is fairly popular. Have you went to AD/boutique for some test drives???

390 is a stunner too with that sweet brown dial and gold hands. My advice is take your time and research various models. "Try" to buy right and buy once.

Here some simple ones I like... ;-)

If it floats your boat, the 88 is a great choice and a great modern classic, IMO.

The 088 is a very nice watch. Best thing to do is to visit an AD or PAM boutique to try them on.

Good luck!

A lot of folks get drawn in by the 88. You may end up flipping for something with more Panerai DNA down the road though. Take your time!

The 88 is a great but rather busy watch, having in mind the fact it is a GMT watch. I would personally suggest you to start from the basics. Perhaps the 005, 111, 000 would all be great additions to your current collection and they all have a good resale value if you ever get bored by them. Perhaps it will help alot if you share with us what are your other watches?
