Scenic Views of Switzerland

Per the request of many TRF members, here are just an example of some amazing views of the beautiful country of Switzerland.

We start in Zurich. Like the rest of Switzerland, it's clean, safe, and very easy to navigate.

Next, Luzern. Gorgeous and a great place to spend the day.

Appenzell, near the Austrian border.

Murren, on the climb to The Schilthorn.

The revolving restaurant and observation deck at 10,000 ft.

The 13,000 ft Jungfrau.

The Lauterbrunnen Valley.

Trummelbachefalle.

Interlaken.

Well, there you have it. If you ever get a chance to see this beautiful country and friendly, accommodating people, do it. You won't be disappointed.

Isn't that restaurant the "Piz Gloria", the one used in On Her Majesty's Secret Service?

Love Switzerland. It is a fantastic place to visit, I've been lucky to have family there so I've been visiting since as I was a child.

Hi Dan,

Beautiful scenes. Simply beautiful.

Thank you for showing the photos.

I’m sure that’s you on the parachute on some kind of James Bond like mission?

Till next time…

Thanks, my friend! That would have been cheaper. But not nearly as fun.

Don't bet on it, pal! As a good friend always said "there's no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane".

Last 2 weeks in April. Just past ski season, before the summer crowds, and right in time for BaselWorld.

Great photos, Dan. I have only transited at Zurich airport before, never had a chance to see the city. After these photos, I am going to plan a trip there! Very nice!

Switzerland is truly a paradise on this earth. It is a place where one can relax without any worries. There is no such place in the world that holds such beauty and exquisiteness.

Dan, thank you for those great pictures! The Lauterbrunnen Valley is definitely a village I'd see myself living in!

Believe it or not (although it's not that hard to believe...), when I went to Zürich I took pictures of the statues in your very first picture, by the looks of it it seems like we were standing at the same spot! Can we call it some kind of an astral GTG?

Switzerland & Austria are my favourite vacation destinations, absolutely gorgeous.
I usually go to Austria in the winter and Switzerland in the summer.

Very nice photos Dan, my wife and I skied there in mid March. Too much white to take a decent photo..... We stayed in Lauterbrunnen, spent most of our time on the piste at Wengen across the valley from Murren. Spectacular skiing and scenery, but unfortunately the food in Switzerland falls short of what France and Italy can do, Cheers
