Get a Weber Genesis model. It will last a decade or more. The Spirit models aren’t nearly as good as the Genesis models or above. I’m still using a Weber I bought in 2000 at our cabin.

This is probably what I would get as well. The high end appliances go inside lol

I have a pre-Weber Ducane that has held up well and get HOT! I still use a Weber kettle for most everything.

I’m very hard on grills.
I get what is cost efficient and functions and can be easily delivered.

I then work it like a rented mule and replace!

agree on the Weber Genesis, you can spend a lot more and not get better. Mine is 13 years old and just replaced burner and flavorer bars, original igniter still works perfect

I would also look at the lynx Sedona grill. It’s the hottest grill ever. Ive had old Duane’s and very familiar w Weber. The nozzle on the grill can be changed to accommodate natural gas.

WEBER, yep!

My old one went to camp with new flavorizer bars.

The new WEBER placed it.

In the process of redoing our backyard with an outdoor kitchen. After using my buddy’s grill I’m going with all Lynx stuff. He has this grill with all trident burners and it’s pretty amazing. Heats super fast with amazing sear but can also turn down the heat quick and go low and slow. Not a true smoker but can throw the wood chip pod in there for some smoke flavor. Cleanup is super simple. The pizza oven also heats and cooks super quick. All seem like really good quality.

Same as most on here, Weber Genesis. We went with the 3 burner and 1 side burner for pots.

Another Weber user. Use my Traeger smoker much more than gas but the Weber has lasted for many years now.

Get a Weber!

I bought a Summit S-470 6 years ago and it's by far the best grill I've ever owned. Has a built in rotisserie (which i use all the time), smoker and a side burner. Besides replacing a few of the knobs and batteries it still looks like it's brand new. I expect this grill to last at least another 15-20 years, only way I see myself replacing it is if I were to upgrade.

I treat gas grills as disposable items so rather then buying them I usually troll the neighborhood looking for grills my neighbors would rather replace then fix. I know I can rebuild it if it's from the last couple of years and from a major manufacturer. Pretty easy to source parts from online sellers and replace gas lines. Might cost $20-$30 for replacement burners and grill grates and then I either sell them or give them to friends. Done this about 25 times or so over the past three summers and we're getting into prime toss away season right now after a long warm summer.

Just picked up a Weber Genesis II Four Burner last week and absolutely love it - never thought I would love a grill lol. All stainless, incredible heat production, even cooking.

Weber Genesis purchased in the summer of 2009. Replaced the igniter last summer. Going to replace the flavorizer bars next year with a set from a company called Rivers Edge ($60 on Amazon). Hope it goes another 10 years.

The new webers that came out this year have a bumper to bumper 10 year warranty.

The weber I bought ~5 year ago has been my worst. I have had several parts replaced under warranty. Thank goodness. This is weber #4 for me. The other 3 seems to do much better and this one is all stainless. Must have gotten a lemon but we do grill 3-4 times a week, year round.

Weber Genesis bought in 2011. As others have said, works well.

The thing I would add is to consider getting your natural gas line out to your grill, if you use NG for heat. You never have to worry about running out of gas at a bad time, or storing a backup gas can. Our last two houses already had the line and once you have one, you'll never go back to LP.

Gas grill

Memphis Grills. Pellet smoker that can smoke, sear and everything in between. It's a beast and over 400#. We use it A LOT, some recent cooks and I have way more pictures than you guys want to see but I cannot recommend the Memphis enough. I looked at Traeger and they are not built to this quality.
