Thoughts on the Omega Seamaster Adjustable Clasp?
Happy Friday Everyone!
I just picked up a new Omega Seamaster and wanted to get your thoughts on the adjustable clasp. Do you guys use it a lot? For me to get the perfect fit between links I definitely have to use it. I also love the easy adjusting on the fly! What’s your take? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's a hit. There's a thread here describing how we buy those and fit them to our Speedmaster bracelets.

I believe it’s the same clasp that’s on my Planet Ocean 8900 43.5.
If so, make sure the 4 screws on the sides of the clasp are tight. I lost one and am currently waiting for a replacement to come in to my AD. I do like it though.

What is the liquid used to keep the screw tight?

It is absolutely the best. I have a seamaster as my everyday watch. You can adjust the watch while it is sill on your wrist. It is simply the best. Others may say different however they have must not experienced one or are simply hating for some reason.

Easier to adjust than the Rolex. I love it.

Thoughts on the Omega Seamaster Adjustable Clasp?
Getting a link taken out of my bracelet today, lost a bit of weight due to illness. If it gets too tight I plan to use the mico-adjustment

I bought one of these for my Speedy and it made me love their modern bracelet. I like it on my Seamaster 300 Pro but I have to admit I have been wearing it mostly on rubber.

It’s not as good as the set up on the Speedy style bracelets.
The clasp leaves a gap between itself and the last bracelet link when expanded. It created a hotspot as the edge of last link is pretty sharp. It would bite my wrist quite often, so I took it off the bracelet. Ended up trading out of the watch. Might get one again, but on rubber. In hindsight I really didn’t like that bracelet at all. Edges too sharp as well. |

I got my bracelet resized now and using the adjustable claps daily, it's fantastic. Sometimes I like to have to snug, somethings a bit loose.

Is this the same clasp that's on the Co-axial moonwatch/moonphases? The one with the push button and three micro adjustments? If so I love it and think it should be standard across the Omega sport watch lineup. I don't move mine all that much but it's very helpful in getting the right fit. I know with my Moonwatch standard clasp I could never get the right fit. With the Moonphase it's perfect.

There are, IIRC, 3 different omega adjustable clasps. 6 position (what the OP is showing I believe), a shorter 3 position (probably what the co-axial speedy has), and a 3 position with divers extension(?). Wonderful that Omega sells these for a reasonable price and they can be retrofitted to many bracelets. Shame they are not a factory option on all their models (or at least available engraved with "Seamaster" or "Speedmaster" like the stock clasps).

I have done the mod on my Speedmaster as well, and I have a PO with the adjustable clasp. I’d say it’s marginally better than the normal Rolex Glidelock, while the Deep-Sea has the best of all.

Anyone know how much AD sells the bracelet for? I have a new one I'm thinking of listing because I prefer rubber or NATO on the Seamaster and wasn't sure if you can even buy from AD or how much it worth.

I did the mod on both of my Seamaster Diver 300s and my Sapphire Sandwich. Can’t live without them now!
