Extremely controversial INCOMING

After much internal debate, I decided to sell my Yachtmaster blue dial 116622 for a BATMAN!

I traded the Yachtmaster and kicked in about $5K to get the Batman. Did I make the correct decision? I love the Yachtmaster but I felt it hovered between dress & sport watch too much and I was looking for solid sport watch to add to my other solidly sport Rolexes and PAM 111.

Batman is awesome.
Especially in good condition with the oyster bracelet.
You can get another yachtmaster later pretty easily if you miss it.

As long as you’re happy then it was a good decision.

Hey, if that's the watch you wanted, you made the right decision. I'm a fan of both references, myself, so can't go wrong.

Doesn’t seem like a “controversial” incoming to me. $5km seems a little steep, but otherwise I’d swap a YM for a BLNR any day of the week.

I see nothing controversial?? Why not make the swap if you are not into the YM anymore. Good choice.

Only controversial thing is how much extra you had to kick in. Yikes

Absolutely love the YM, such a comfortable and classy watch, like a luxurious sub. I don’t have much experience with the gmt but it’s a good looking watch too for sure, enjoy

Huh?

Many have swapped YMs for GMTc’s... Now, if you said a YM for a Milgauss or Cellini that’s different. Enjoy!

I'm not sure why this is controversial, but you have a very nice collection - I like the 111 on the rubber strap

I'm struggling a bit with my yachtmaster blue myself. Love the look - it might be the most beautiful rolex i own. But like you I feel like it doesn't really have an identity between dress and sport. So I see why you made the move. Love the batman!

Only thing controversial I see is the white strap on that Panerai!

Just kidding.

Happiness is priceless.
Congrats on Batman!

"Extremely controversial." Maybe get out more if this is your definition of controversy.

Jokes aside, congratulations on the new watch!
