Use the EL all the time.
I wear my watches on either wrist.

Glidelock on my Sub is even better, but by far the best is the Glidelock on my DSSD.

At this point, I cannot get another watch with a bracelet that does not offer easy size adjustments.

Yep!
+5mm is quite a bit.
+3mm would be more useful.

If I had a -10mm adjustment, the wife could borrow it. Luckily that's not an option;)

Just got told by a sales person that the easy link should not be left open long term, but only for short term expansions. She said something along the lines of that leaving it in the open position will put pressure on the clasp/springbar.... 🤨

Anyone else have more info to share on this? Interesed.

I use it regularly. My wrist changes pretty often. I like being able to tighten it up on the fly if I want it to hold in place and look optimal and then loosen it a bit here and there for comfort. It works great for me. Hate the diver's extension and other methods because they're clunky and add bulk/discomfort to the bracelet.

BLUF: I call BS.

The spring bar inside the clasp is perfectly capable of holding the watch. The beak of the easy link isn't exactly a heavyweight champ.

The Omega is a great system, but IMO, the best belongs to either IWC or Glashutte Original, which utilize a push button on the OUTSIDE of the clasp that enables micro adjustment while the clasp is fastened and the watch is on your wrist.

I thought so too.... surely Rolex wouldn't design some 3rd grade mechanism if it can not be used in either position in the long run. Then again only one way to find out. I'm leaving my easylink open for a whole year of dailywear to find out

I occasionally use it but generally it's rare.

My wrist hardly swells or shrinks, so I'd never use it myself.

I use it quite often, especially during summertime. Quick & easy.

My AD just got me one for my OP36 and I had it installed a couple of weeks ago. I could have used it this afternoon but I didn't think to open it.

The omega system works great. It’s the seamaster clasp: had one installed on my speedy a few years ago (also requires MKII end links). Very easy to fine tune.

It depends - on my Pepsi I use it daily but my polar naturally fits right between sizes so I never need to use it.
