Incoming Apollo 8
Thought quite a while about this having tried on. It’s a totally different type of watch to those which I’d usually buy but I fancied something a little different. I figured black ceramic would be different from the usual steel!
It really is beautifully done, wears less than it’s 44mm size and the best bit is it sits close to the wrist and due to the manual movement it’s nice and slim. Really fantastic, and when the light hits the dial and bezel it pops like mad. Really pleased, and seems like a very special piece albeit not cheap by omega standards. It's a very nice Speedmaster. I have seen this popping up in a few places in London. Congrats! And wears it in good health

Thank you. I can’t wait for my 50th to show up too. I’m bored of the Rolex games and it’s nice to be able to buy a nice watch without all the hassle. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank you. I just replied to your insta post oddly enough! It’s great. A million times better outside in the natural light. Go for it if you can. You will not regret and you will be used to the size in an hour or two. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

An absolute stunning watch. 1861 movement, in a ceramic case, and that awesome semi-skeleton dial and caseback is really special. I think this is a watch that will become more and more popular and it deserves to be. Looks great in the photo's. I will be trying not to be tempted by this one

It’s great mate. It’s the movement that makes it as it keeps it thin. It’s a great piece. Thoroughly recommended if you try one on.
The dial really is to die for also.... Roll on the 50th.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks mate - yes, honestly it’s more satisfying to buy one of these than trawl 1000 Rolex joints and find nothing. Great service and great watches. Can’t say much else really... Oh and love the watch too. Ceramic is so differnent and light and reflective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Agreed! I'm looking forward to getting the 50th as well and have given up on Rolex.

Me too, I no longer have any interest in modern Rolex. I still love 4 and 5 digit references but Omega is producing some great new watches. The Apollo 8 being one of them and the 50th another

great piece. looked at one the other day. if I hadn't bought a Casamigos Seamaster and pre-ordered the Apollo 11, I probably would have picked one up also. Congrats OP!
