Did I Do Ok? 116610 Submariner Fake?

I don't have as good of an eye in pictures as some of you, couple watches that were "cheaper" ended up being scammer's / fakes. No documents with this one, but the clasp looks kind of off to me. the gaps and what looks to be separation? I preferred to not buy off of ebay, but did not see any "user" priced examples available.

thanks for any and all input!

ebay item: 192937536495

I don’t see anything that would confirm it to be not genuine. Looks dirty and could use a good scrubbing.

The seller has been around for a while. Get it checked out once you receive it. If any issues contact seller first then eBay.

I get we dont promote fakes, but we can't even help a member stay away from one?

You’re basically paying retail for a 5-8 year old watch with no paperwork. If you’re not comfortable politely message the seller and ask to cancel before he ships.

Then go into several ADs and let them know the model you’re looking for. Stop in regularly and chat with them. Should have a brand new one in a few months.

I talked to both local ADs, they say 6 months plus and they have a wait list
