Visited an AP store for the first time today and....

... they treated me very well. Walked me through the history of the brand and I tried on several pieces: a steel RO with a blue dial (15500?), an Offshore, and some special Code with a beautiful blue dial. These pieces weren’t available for sale.

Very nice experience but the watches just aren’t my style.

Some like vanilla, some like chocolate. At least you gave it a try.

I never got the idea of having “hot” watches available to try while you can’t get the actual watch!!

If you sold the marketing pieces what would people actually have try on when they visit the boutique?

I actually really appreciate this to get a feel on for size and details. Of course better to be able to buy as well, but I’d take trying on demos over only being able to see photos

I also prefer this approach, as last time I visited AP house they had all the hot watches to try on but not for sale, only to register interest.

Better than Rolex where there are no watches to try on and end up walking in and out.

I’ve tried on a 15202IP at 57th st boutique before they allocated me a 15202st.

Are they taking orders? How long is the wait?

That's cruel.

I'm sad that I missed out on the 15202IP.
