Next Watch Suggestions

So I have a pretty good watch collection at this point.

I have an Explorer II Polar 216570 (2013) , Rolex GMT-Master II "Batman" 116710BLNR (2014), Tudor Black Bay GMT (2018), Omega Planet Ocean "Big Size" 2201.50.00 (2010), and 2 examples of the new Seiko Arnie, the SNJ027 and the Seiko-only SNJ028.

I'm trying to figure out where I want to go next. I would really like to get into a PM or a DJ41. Really, I'm just looking for suggestions. I travel a lot so I have a natural affinity for GMT watches.

Here's the list of what I'm thinking:

Rolex DJ41 Blue on Oystersteel and white gold , jubilee band, fluted bezel
Rolex Submariner Date - 116610LN or Hulk 116610LV
Rolex GMT Master 2 "Pepsi" BLRO White Gold - 126719BLRO
Omega Planet Ocean GMT 43.5mm - 232.30.44.22.01.001

Or go vintage:

Rolex Submariner 5513
Rolex GMT 1675

Here's a pick in the new Wolf watch tray that just arrived today:

DJ41 as dressier option if you fancy that. if you don't need a dressy watch in your collection then the hulk wins

My favorite watch is the Rolex GMT-Master II. I hope to one day own a vintage Sub, JLC Deep Sea Alarm Tribute, etc.

Having said that, I'd argue the experience of a collection can become redundant and lackluster if all you have are numbered-bezel sporty watches. If that doesn't bother you at all, then I guess buy whatever you like.

If I were in your shoes, though, I'd get something dressier. A world-timer watch would add to your collection quite nicely, and satisfy the travel angle you want.

If you want to go PM and like GMT's then BLRO white gold is the way to go.

BLRO either steel or WG. I prefer the WG with blue or meteorite dial myself. You have imitators, now get the real thing.

Nice collection, I have that same Planet Ocean, it is a great watch. Given what you have, and my personal tastes I'd like a DJ41, either bezel is great.

May I suggest a TT DJ? Gives a bit of gold to your collection to dress things up while still being versatile enough for everyday wear. Not to mention it’s a classic, universally recognized Rolex design. Since you like GMTs, you might also consider a TT SkyD given it’s similar aesthetics to the DJ if you don’t mind the larger and busier dial.

i'd get a TT datejust or a sub.......you could also start to add a chrono(daytona) to your collection if you're interested in that

With all those sport models, I believe Hulk will bore you quickly. Plus, new movement is probably about to be released. That matters to me.

DJ41 for your collection. For me it’s missing something dressy. The blue dial is very nice, but don’t discount the silver too. Or the white face with romans.
