Datejust is a wonderful watch. People are gaga over the SS SD, but I see the 41 DJ as a worthy alternative for those who don’t care for the complications. Looks really sharp!

Blue is known for its attraction forces but we should not underestimate the model you got here. I tried the rhodium dial next to the blue one, I was enamored buy the monochrome sparkle light plays on this model. Loved it.

DJ41 blue dial... Comments at dinner

The dark blue of the current DJ’s and DD’s is awesome, congrats!

Cracking looking watch. I need to fill that gap at some point. Hope you checked the serial when you got it back ...

I had the chance to get the blue but I went with rhodium. I did get the diamond dial and on rhodium it’s killer. If I got sticks I might have went with blue but the rhodium with sticks or diamonds on the DJ41 is just magic.

Then you get the other half like me that if a friend notices and says anything about it, I can't unbuckle fast enough for them to try on.

You never mentioned if your DJ41 blue dial was fluted or smooth bezel; jubilee or oyster bracelet. I think everyone assumed fluted and jubilee.

The following 2 comments illustrate why the professional models are "more respected" by wis. Because they are harder to get.

I haven't seen the blue in person, but my brother has the Azzurro blue roman and said we can't have two blue DJs in the family
The dark rhodium goes with everything and when the light hits it, watch out. Either way I am a fan of both.

Subs are a dime a dozen on the streets of SF. Yet to see one of these on a wrist...

Ok... I’m sold, next purchase is a blue 41. All those shots are incredible.

I find hardly anyone noticing the watch I am wearing. However, my DJ41 blue dial, smooth bezel and oyster bracelet almost always draws attention. It is different than many sports models with thick bezel with numbers on them and most commonly found.
