Just picked it up. You might want to take your credit card. I think it is worth it.

Which dial/watch do you like best ? 403 or this one.
And don't you miss the bracelet?

Congratulations gentlemen! I got to see this watch in person and I love it. I really believe that demand will outstrip supply on these now and well into the future.

Just made the payment, my dealer sold the one he got instantly and was able to get a second one, coming in this week. When I get it, pictures will follow, seems to be a good seller for GS.

I really really wish my wrist could handle that monster, but it can't.

Enjoy them in good health guys...

If your wrist is 16cm or more it'll work just fine. The L-L is under 50mm.

Same case and size :

Looks good.

Is 15 seconds/month the maximum as plus or minus?

Is this a big deviation considering the technology?

Do you lose positional correction with spring drive?

Thanks!

My Lion SBGA403 runs +1.5 a month.
SBGA375 about +3 sec.

No positional compensation possible.

I tried one on yesterday. I had a hard time taking it off. Surprised by how much I liked it. It’s a stunner.

Looking for a Bracelet for the 'Zilla

While I'm waiting for my AD to confirm he can get me a GS bracelet, I had my strap maker cobble me up a new strap for the Zilla.

This one is made from beaver-tail, with burgundy stitching. It's not exactly what I had anticipated. The charcoal-black looks more brown, and the stitching is too thin and fails to add the complementary contrast I was shooting for.

However it's very soft and much more comfortable than the GS Shark strap. Plus the texture looks more 'reptilian' than the Seiko strap.

Dimensions are 23mm tapering to 22mm.

I'll have another one made in January. This time I'll have him fabricate a conservative black-alligator with black stitching

I must say... that is frigging badass looking. It's like you're about to get tail whipped by Godzilla...both scary and intimidating...

I like the strap and have thought about having a custom one made. I have the GS Lion on the bracelet and have thought about moving it over to the Godzilla at some point to give it the bracelet look. Keep us posted on your strap and bracelet developments.
