I've NEVER see a 1675 like this before! Anyone seen this?
So I go to see a local dealer who specializes in Patek and next thing you know....
So the word is that it's a 1675, but it has lots of feature from the 65xx I guess it was a transitional watch, like the SS sub with steel insert and engraved rehaut. |

One of about 200 18k 1675 made as they transitioned from the 6542. NCG case with a 15XX movement

Watch Expo? It's an early YG 1675 with no crown guards.

Just to clarify this is not Concorde hands. Concorde hands are stick hands and are accompanied by a large arrow gmt hand. This is a transitional 1675 18k with daulphine hands and a small gmt arrow, and as mentioned no crown guards. This one is likely from 1965.

The watch isn't for sale, just a show and tell. On top of that, I doubt the watch was EVER polished. |

Yeah I understand your logic because of the pattern of the stainless steel case but the gold GMT pattern is different. There are many documented "transitional" 18k no crown guard cases from 65'. The OP used the word "transitional" and around ~1966 the reference became 1675/8 and crown guards were used on the case

Hi guys,
I'm new on here, although have been reading for years. I have a quick question about a 1675 that I have just bought. I can't quite work out the dial? Also are these guards pointed. Or do they look like they have been filed of some sort? Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks Kind regards Jake |
