A difference of 16k for a Daytona white dial ceramic plus a relationship with an AD for other hot pieces.

OR buy a Daytona on grey market for 22-23k.

I assume you have either a store, business, buyers lined up, or a solid selling reputation to move those pieces at those prices?

Because if you don't, I think you're going to find it a little more difficult thing you think finding buyers sending that much money to a seller without an established reputation.

Confused
Yes, retail price. Market price is about double that.

Can sell the DD40 for more, but you got everything else correct.

Quick maths dictates if you would do the deal or not; many people wouldn't have. I would on the other hand, and I would probably have gotten rid of the CHNR and DD40.

Good deal

Congratulations on the deal, two watches at retail or below that you actually wanted and one that should sell for near enough break even, what’s not to like!

So much negativity here but if you stand back and look at the figures in black and white, whichever way the OP is on a win win.

As the OP stated, he ACTUALLY wanted a DD and DayC. So all he has to do is sell the CHNR.

If I had been offered this deal, I would of bitten the AD's hand off!

20% discount on a PM with 1 Super Hot and 1 Hot item is a very good deal indeed.

WELL DONE!

I would do it if I could afford to and actually wanted the watches. I can’t see the point in spending 10k over list on a watch if you can finish with that particular watch at retail price plus a few others that you wanted to own. The DD40 wouldn’t be for me but the CHNR certainly is.

Don’t you worry about getting “blacklisted” for flipping the CHNR?

I would.

Think this is a OK to good deal. Especially if you factor in the relationship building “cost” which will allow access to further desirable models.
If I ever want to get a PM (Smurf/DD) I will be trying this route. Happy to bundle another watch (or two as OP) if this helps the cause.

Although surprised OP got the DD with discount - have thought the bundle only works if paying full MSRP.. tell me I am wrong if anyone else has experience.

And people still feel sorry for ADs, lol. Guys, let this post prove that they are having no trouble selling watches.

Awesome pickups and sounds like a fair deal.

The deal makes sense. Very simple. The value lost with DD is easily gained with Daytona, chnr is worth 14k even if you keep it around for a few months. I’m a big fan of the chnr, I’d keep it around.

You may think you are on top of the list for those other watches but what happens when the next sucker comes in and makes an offer to bundle. Surely there were people who thought they were next on the list for that Daytona until you walked in. What you did to those people will happen to you. They’ll bundle again to someone new on those GMT’s if they can.

In the end if you are happy with the deal that’s all that matters.

Even if he is 2nd on a list he wouldn’t have been on at all is something. May not get it tomorrow but soon (probably).
