People nowadays cant figure out what they want but try so hard to find out what other people think about them.

I was trying to get some friendly advice about how a watch I basically can't see in person (due to scarcity) might look on me based upon a photo of my wrist size and in comparison to another watch. I value the opinion of other forum members as an input - but not sole input. Some things I can certainly make up my mind about easily. For example, I am sure I don't care what you think I should or shouldn't post about.

What else is one supposed to do? I had difficulty finding an SD43 to try on. Finally went to a 2nd hand store and saw one.

It's hard for any of us to accept the limitations that our wrist size puts on us. I think the Daytona C is the most beautiful sports watch Rolex produces. Unfortunately I know that it will look small on my 7.25" wrist. I would love to own one but at the end of the day I know it's just not right for me. At least with the Sea Dweller you have a choice. I just wish they made a 42 mm "Daytona II" for me!

Very cool pic, has a 60's vibe to it that looks like it should be in a Rolex advertisement from then.

My SD43 on my 7 1/4’’ wrist.
vs hulk

Other than the color, they both feel very similar on the wrist, and honestly I don’t think the SD43 really even looks a lot larger comparatively. JMO

No prob.
Close up wrist shots can be deceiving. IMO This is a more realistic perspective.

Cheers.

Can my wrist handle a SD43?

6.5” wrist looks way too big to me.

As long as lugs sit within the width of your wrist you're fine. This is how I see it. I love the lugs of a watch to be at the limit of my wrist, just before it starts curving down. My wrist is let than 7" I guess and the 43mm looks stunning.

If you have that much room with the SD4K you can rock the 43

I have fairly small wrists, IDGAF, wear it everyday. My wife has worn it a couple times too, looks great.

Only every now and then I'll have some shirt sleeves that don't quite want to let it fit.

Also as an anecdote, if you follow 126600 on instagram, tons and tons of asian guys rocking their SD43s.

Impossible to tell your wrist size from a picture that close, but in my opinion you can easily handle it. 43mm is a good size watch, but it's not massive. And the SD43 sits nicely on the wrist so if you like the watch and style, size won't be an issue for you.

Build obviously plays a factor too.

My wrist isn’t large by any means (just over 7”) but I have a larger frame and “normal” sized 40mm watches can look small on me.

Think the SD43 looks like it was made for me.

Just say no. I won't wear a modern Rolex dive watch (post 116600). They're just to big and top heavy for my wrist.

I don’t know.

Sometimes my sub looks too small. Other times not.

Overthink it and it quickly becomes an obsession.

Just wear the one you want(ed) the most.

I have a 7inch oval wrist.
