5 digit and 4 digit Pepsi - 904 L?
Hi - I have been a member of the forum for awhile but only have ever purchased modern Rolexes.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about 16710 GMT Master M series...as well as the 4 digit references. When did Rolex start using 904L on the case and bracelet for these pepsi watches? What is the quality if the bracelets and clasps? I know some people complain that the claps are more tin like than the modern versions? Thanks for any clarification. |

Rolex started using 904L in 1987 with the reference 168000. Only for the cases; the bracelet counted to be in 316.
