26400io or 26400so?

I'd really like to get some opinions from you guys. I am about to take the plunge on one of these and cannot decide. I do not own any other AP ROO 44's.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

No bad decision there but Ti edges it for me.

Been eyeing these two as well. Does the Ti weigh significantly less than the steel?

I went through a similar decision last year. I ended up with the Ti, and I have no regrets. The titanium weighed significantly less than the steel to me.

Here was my previous thread about the 2 pieces:

Good luck!

Yes it does. Titanium weighs c.a. 45% less than steel. I had the same dilemma between the two and went for Ti and never looked back. Ti44 weighs the same as Sub-C (150grams) and is very comfortable on the wrist. I wear it 24/7.

Having said that 26400so is very cool watch as well, can't go wrong with either. Lightness, comfort and grey dial sealed the deal for me.

Thanks! 45% lighter is a huge bonus. I wonder how it compares to the FC?

FC is the lightest of them, steel heaviest and Ti in between. I saw somewhere that FC44 weighs 130g. However Ti is about as strong as steel and FC is more prone to damages. Also FC cannot be refinished as the same way as Ti, steel or gold. Ti has some wrist presence without being heavy. Just enough that you know it’s there :)

I am on the other side, though the Ti was another choice for me, for my own reasons, I loved the SS more. There is something about the light silver or whitish dial that attracted me. So, for me the SS gets my vote and $$

Titanium will be more comfortable due to its lighter weight.

I like the look of both but as a traditionalist not sure I like the idea of a light ROO, so probably SS.

I don’t own either of them, but having tried them both on several times I think the Ti is much more cool looking and way more comfortable.

Ti for me, but I am biased It has just enough heft without being too light. Also it goes with any outfit.

Looks fantastic! The dial has a great contrast, very nice indeed.

I prefer the look of the TI, personally....though would pick the CE or RG over either TI or Steel

Would you buy the Ti new?

Isn't the steel now discontinued so an unworn grey/used would be the only option?

I love this strap, my fave ever, it just transforms the whole look, great move by AP to put it this style on the 42s.
