Planning : Pair A or Pair B

Trying to figure out which way to go.
Let’s start saying that my 2 Rolex are not going anywhere.

These 2 pieces are staying

I guess I could move the DJ if I really have to but trying not to.

The next 2 pieces is my real dilemma:
Pair “A” (top) , I think because the inclusion of the 5070 on it , it will have the Thumbs up from the collectivity point of view. Pair “B” (bottom) because has the Gold ceramic AP , has the cool, “matches my lifestyle factor”
So it’s hard for me to decide.
Thinking I will give it a couple of months to decide, but it doesn’t hurt to hear opinions, thanks

When you put them together it would look like these : (collection A on top and Collection B on the lower )

Who knows what I am gonna end up doing but finding out options is fun

Is the RG 44 and 5070 not an option? If not I think I would choose option 2

The only that could happen is if I do something like this

And 5070 would probably have to be with archives (no certificate), so the price is cheaper , don’t think I would do that , but you never know.

I am thinking that what you call choice 2 is the one with AP in Rose gold

I would go with the RG44 + 5070 as well.

Or if not possible, I like the 5070 white dial + a black dial 15710 Diver.

I personally like the lighter dial on the PP and the darker dial for the ROO.

I could do that : 5070R + Black Diver + 2 Rolex

Alternatively I could go with a Royal Oak with bracelet instead of the diver; but I feel the rubber strap of the diver gives the collection more diversity.

So I will count your vote for the upper collection,
So scores is 1 for A (upper) , 1 for B (lower)

Do this...Anything with the 5070 quite frankly. This is a grail of mine. I like the 44RG as well for the casual days

Yeah the only problem with that trio is that the 5070 would have to be with archives.
So I will count your vote for Choice A (top)

Count is : A) 2 votes B) 2 votes

B, I prefer the 5170... unless the 5070 is a P.

For me, it will be 5170G, RG44 ( but the classic dial ) and the two rolexes which you want to keep. I think 5170G fits you better from your IG photos.

My vote is for option B.

I think if the RG44 is more fitting to your lifestyle with the "new and cool" factor, perhaps substituting the PP with another reference, as it is a polar opposite with the "new and cool" factor in terms of size and presence, unless that is what you are going for.

Great watches and choices!

I like slightly better the new dial , I think it has that sleek/modern/ look , wouldn’t mind at all the old classic dial either. And yeah I love the classic chrono look of my 5170g ...maybe that’s why I would favor the modern look of the new dial on the AP to balance it out. Thanks Ben

I still have it , not making any decision until May probably. Don’t get me wrong I love the 5164R, I just hate to baby the watch. Main motivation of the collection change

Option B ...and replace the DJ with the AP diver.

Personally, I’d swap the brown 5070 strap for a black one to dress it up even more

I choose B I really like the 5170 over the 5070 and 44 over the diver.

I love the 5164 as you know, and I'm not sure the gold 5070 will not mark up the same as the Aqua. Maybe switch to the SS then.

Oops, brain fart, I meant A.

I also like the idea of complicating things and saying 5070 + RG 44 + Daytona, and throwing the Datejust overboard is an even better idea.

I'd throw over the DJ so he could keep the 5164 in RG or SS.

Option B

5170 > 5070

But I like an Option C: 5170 + Diver
