Another reason why I love Seiko...

SBGA407 Grand Seiko

SSA343J1 Seiko Présage

Quality.

And there’s something for every stage of collecting and budget. With both being right at home in the same collection.

Why I love seiko and the community. The brand allows all who love watches, not just those that can afford them. Nothing against patek or Lange or AP, etc. they are great too. But your run of the mill person isn’t allowed into the club. True horological history at every price point.

And don’t you dare remind them about their quartz history.

I couldn’t agree more!! What I love most about our community is the inclusivity!
(Although some may covet the ‘exclusivity’ of high prices and inaccessible models provide, I love the immediate friendship and inclusiveness created by watch love)
Very few things create an instant bond among people, and watch love is one of those things..

Anyone who love watches gets a seat at the table !!

I love how Seiko provides a watch that anyone at any budget can be proud to wear..
It’s not about how much you spend, it’s about how much you can appreciate, and Seiko at every level gives you so much to appreciate..

It is truly a brand that is about the love of the products..

Say what you will about Seiko, but they have never tried to sell a lifestyle, or a fantasy, they have only ever wanted to sell a watch.

That first ad is hilariously bad. Nice find, Adam.

I’m going to try that line next time I’m wearing my ‘77 6139. Do I have to dress like that, too, for it to work?

I appreciate the simplicity and durability. Outside of this particular movement that is not running all that well and is nearly bone dry.
