Would this 1974 Datejust be Considered Vintage?

My watch is a Datejust 1603 and based on the serial number it was manufactured in 1974. The dial is a Sigma Piepan and the bezel is Engine Turned. The bracelet is a Jubilee and all are original. There has been no polishing to either the case or the bracelet. I am the original owner and have the case, as shown, and all the original paperwork.

I hope the link to the photo will work:

Is this watch considered vintage? Thanks ahead of time and any comments are appreciated!

as a side note, vintage is often associated with time. Just because its vintage doesn't make it expensive or collectible in case thats where you are going with this.

a 1603, engine turned datejust is not uncommon at all. Is it worth some $? yes, is it worth alot of $? no

$545, haha. It’s crazy to think that this is the price of a steak dinner for a family of 4 in Vegas nowadays. It’s a very beautiful watch

I was just thinking the other day where all the “is it vintage” posts were.

Nice watch… so many Datejust end up beat to hell. That one is not only vintage but uncommonly nice.

Common yes but it’s much nicer then your average watch of the same age.
