Favorite AP ROO if you could only pick one.

My small collection consists of a Rolex Daytona (white dial) and a Rolex Skydweller (blue dial). I want to add a Royal Oak Offshore 44mm.

My options are 24600AU (as the favorite), followed by 26400IO and 26400SO. Which one would you pick? Would you recommend any other?

Thank you guys in advance!

Favorite AP ROO if you could only pick one.

I’ve had a lot of them over the years, Ceramic, Carbon, Titanium, Steel, no PMs though. The IO would be my pick.

Are you only looking at the 44s? If so, I would recommend the 24600ce. Of all my APs, it I the one that spends the most time on my wrist

If you are looking at 42s also, you are then into a vast range of options - off the top of my head, the Panda, the beast, the updated brick, the RBII in titanium, the CE Diver, and the Gentleman’s Diver are all among my personal favourites

To me the 26405CE is the best one. Totally discreet and looks and feels awesome.

I would only do gold in the RO range. I would personally stick to the Ti, Pt or CE models in the ROO range especially the 44. Its too big a watch already to add even more look at me factor to it. But thats just my taste (for now).

If you can get use to the weight, RG44 is the way to go.

RG44 is my favorite AP watch, its quite heavy in order to use it perfectly well you have to get used to the weight, if you can get used to the weight then its a good option for you.

Tons to choose from, but I would actually opt for 42mm Ceramic Diver 15707CE especially if you want a ceramic piece.

For the options that you listed, 26400au.
If we are widening it, then the 26405ce ceramic.

I have never owned an AP, but from reading you guys I understand that 44s are superior and worth the premium. Also, I am a big guy and like that it is bigger. So this is why I did not consider 42s.

PM I am not sure. I don't think I would wear a rose gold or yellow gold piece. Maybe Platinum one day, but that is out of my league for now. I think I discarded the 26400SO because of the color similarity with my Daytona. So the options would be 26400AU, 26400IO and now 26405CE (I like the older reference better with anthracite dial).

I am leaning towards the FC, however, concerned with the FC durability. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for answering! Why would you prefer the 26405CE over the 26400AU?

Hey! Thanks for answering. Yes I am with you about PM and 44s. Between 26405CE and 26400AU which would you prefer and why?

I would go for the 44RG if you can swing it. I have both the Ti and the RG, the RG is by far my favorite.

Summer Edition is my favourite too - a beautiful watch. However, with the vulnerable gold bezel and, to a degree weight, its not viable for regular wear. The RG44 is highly recommended, being much more robust with ceramic bezel. I prefer the older version with silver subdials though, as I think the new dial is just too dark.

Full ceramic over forged carbon for the case is the reason. A while back I looked at the 26400AU and was really on the fence whether to buy or not.

Both are equally difficult to read compared to the TI or SO but the ceramic one's dial is a little more interesting under various light conditions, in my opinion.
