Need help on my 5513 HEV
I have a Rolex case ref 5513. In the caseback there is number 5512 and a small helium valve (it is the same as in Comex). Serial number is 270XXXX. The case has never been used and there hasnīt been a bracelet. Does anybody know anything about this case? Is it a prototype or what?2014-11-12-0489[1].jpg

Greetings from across the sea. Yes its hard! The language of vintage Rolex is worse still - so hard it requires pictures!

The high-quality photo is suspicious !!

case number is not in the correct range for known Comex 5513.
also the back ( punched " 5512 " ) is a later replacement . honestly seems to be a 5513 with HEV added ( not by Rolex in my opinion ). however would be very interesting to see big pics of : 1) case and reference number between the lugs 2) detail of the HEV zone in the case 3) inside of the back. in the past I have already seen many fake 5513 cases with an added HEV. |

I like that this guy joins TRF, drops a huge bomb as his one post, and then goes silent. Come on, Rolexhev! You can't do that to us! Let's see some more of this baby!

more pics
Here are some more pictures. Watch case has been in the desk drawer for years . I think that the case is from 1970. I really like to know what this is. If anyone has some information or good guesses it would be highly appreciated.

No registered design, or stainless steel engraving between lugs, no date marking in CB, not looking good

Thank you andromeda160! I know it is not a registered design and that makes it very interesting. The case is in small plastic bag with rolex sticker on it and a handwritten mark 5513. I got it from a retired watchmaker.

fake case ( besides the lack of REGISTERED DESIGN and STAINLESS STEEL ...numbers have wrong fonts ) and later back produced after 1983 ( lack of " PATENTED " ).
