I misread. It states: “43mm bronze case with bronze-coloured PVD-treated steel case back and satin finish.” So it’s just the case back, not the whole case, which is PVD’d.

I’m on what I suppose is the Europe site as I’m in Spain.

I like everything about the Tudor Bronze...except for the type of bronze. I've had six bronze watches (still have three) and they are all made from "marine bronze" CUSN8, Tudor uses aluminum bronze. CUSN8 gets a wide and wild variety of patina which is the major reason for attraction to me and most other bronze afficionados. Aluminum bronze just gets darker with age. I wish Tudor had been braver.

Good info, that's the kind of stuff I love about this forum. Thank you.

That’s only the caseback.

You make a good point. I’m not sure what type of bronze Panerai uses but their models seem to patina beautifully. Unfortunately they’re not that easy to come by.

The 79250BA is stunning. It's interesting if I'm reading and seeing correctly, the shaded dial is indeed scaled in darkness.

Yes it will, the brown reminds me of root beer for some reason.

Absolutely LOVE this watch. Probably the best piece released for Basel 2019.
What’s the MSRP on this?

This is the best looking bronze Tudor yet IMO.

Great watch. I wished they updated the bezel and didn't use aluminum on it. Can't use the watch in water coz of that.

Pretty sure they're referring to the case back being PVD as the bronze may discolor your wrist.

I’ve found the AL bezel to be very durable. Mine has taken some pretty good whacks, and there isn’t a mark on it. Is there really a concern with using it in water? I would expect with good anodizing, corrosion from water wouldn’t be a concern.

I love the look of it but at 43mm I'd have to try it on first to see what I thought of it.
I would definitely consider getting one if I think I could wear the size

This is really lovely. I sold mine out last year and have been waiting patiently for a new release. Would give this a thought. Congrats

Think this is a stunner. But have to agree with a lot of others that it is just too big for me to buy it.

I've had the original version for about two years now and have taken it everywhere with me. Salt water, fresh water, pool water and it's been fine to this point.

Lovely looking watch. Does the bronze darken/oxidize with time?

Noticed on Jostacks pics there seems to be Verdigris around the crown and lugs.
