Until I read "Panerai - An Italian Story" I didn't know Panerai had blue dials in the past. If I remember correctly the blue dial was a chemical reaction and not something they tried to do on purpose. Ill have to go and reread. Either way the blue looks exactly like it did in the 50s. Looks good.

It's all blue. What you can see is the 'inside' of the 10 day track, because of the way my wrist is angled up to catch the sun in the dial

The blue dials are boutique only references and there's no Panerai boutique in the UK, so I would say not unless you can source on from a grey. Bit annoying when there's three boutiques in Paris
