Ordering exotic straps from OCONUS
Greetings all,
I apologize if this question has been asked. I am interested in purchasing some exotic straps (gator, etc) from overseas and had a few questions I'm hoping some of the experts can help me on.. 1. Will the exotic straps make it thru US customs? If not, I'll just order CONUS. 2. If I purchase exotic straps, am I contributing to the demise of any endangered species, if so then forget question 1. Leather it is. thanks for your help. Joe |

If customs inspects your package you'll need to have a CITIES permit for a genuine gator band. Generally if purchasing from a reputable source or from Panerai then the animals are not endangered and come from a protected farm.

Ordering exotic straps from OCONUS
Quote:
I've ordered from Aaron and 2 things to note. 1) he does file the proper paperwork for importing exotic skins and 2) his straps are amazing quality - the finish on the edges is top notch.

Thanks Baco Noir.
I just placed a four strap order with aaronpim of Combat Straps. Ordering from him was super easy. His responsiveness and professionalism is truly excellent. Especially since my wife and I couldnt decide and changed our order like 5 times. I will post a more thorough review when the straps arrive. thanks again! |

Happy to help. Wait until you see the quality of the finishing on the edges. My gator and ostrich still look outstanding 18 months later.
