Iconic design

Seeing these two 36mm Day-Dates together, one brand new and one from 1965, makes me realize how little the appearance has changed in the intervening 50-plus years. There are not a lot of consumer items whose design is or was so stable - VW Beetles and Porsche 911s, Chemex and Moka coffee makers, and Ray-Ban Wayfarers all spring to mind ...

What else looks recognizable, yet still modern and right, 50+ years later?
