Some Good News and Some Bad

don't know if i mentioned it here, but my new casamigos sea master died last week. so I dropped off the casamigos at the Omega boutique yesterday. they just sent it in for warranty. they were kind enough to offer my a speedy loaner watch, but I declined because I didn't want the responsibility. the manager told me that the Apollo 50th are starting to roll in and I should be getting mine soon. before I left he gave me an official space pen with pressurized cartridge for those times you need to write in zero G situations.

Casamigos is a beautiful watch! I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. Nice gesture of them to offer you a loaner and that pen is super cool. When I got my Deep Black they gave my son an underwater notepad and pen.

Please post pics of the Casamigos when it's returned to you!

Cool. Sorry to hear the bad news, bounds like some genuinely nice treatment from the Boutique. Good to hear.

Such is the watch game. Your watch will be back soon enough along with another incoming so you are good. Nice pen.

Damn, sorry to hear about that. The Casamigos is such a cool watch. Very surprised to hear you had this issue.

Hearing your watch needs repair already is a bummer but I'm glad to hear about the OB giving this level of service. Its the little things like this, that will keep me buying from a boutique and with Omega. My Rolex AD doesn't offer me anything. I can't even buy a watch from them, let alone get a loaner and a gift! LOL.

Sorry about your watch snafu.

Your mention of the space pen reminds me of the Seinfeld episode “The Pen”.
“It writes upside down!”

Also, I seem to recall those pens are made by a single manufacturer in Las Vegas.

Lastly, there’s a story that NASA spent untold amounts of time, energy and $ to develop a pen that would write in space. The tighter-budgeted Russians’ solution was to just use a pencil.
