Icon20 1665 asking price

Could someone PM me what a good asking price for this watch would be? It seems like the price for the 1665 is all over the place. Not looking to sell right now, but I might.

Thanks

It depends on many factors.

Do you have some pics? Box/papers?

Looks like a 'great white' 1665 in very nice condition.

One was for sale on eBay for 13k and did not sell.

I was recently offered one for 10k.... it sold quickly for about 10.5k (with box and some provenance papers).

That should sell at $10k -$10.3k.
What serial range is it?

Only one pic, can't see the dial details (mk3 or service??? who can tell???) valve side? Serial number? Right bracelet? Case back?
It is impossible to tell a worth

Swiss only

The dial has only "Swiss" printed @ the 6 hour marker. So itīs a service/replacement dial. Nothing wrong with that...but itīs good to know since it should fetch less dollar wise. The hands are probably replacement too.

I have a 1665 just like the one pictured...service dial & hands. Glows like a rocket in the dark

I didn't see that either... the value begins to drop some.

Still a nice piece but won't fetch the 10k range.

I think I like reading your comments almost as much as looking at the watches. Its impressive how much knowledge, collectively speaking, is on this forum.

Nice catch. I didn't see it either.

I would say about $8500 now.

How much does the lack of provenance-papers and box -knock off a piece like this?

It has a service dial and probably hands. The case looks really sharp. The good news is, it has what looks to be a tight nice 9315 folded link bracelet.

but it is not the right bracelet, it should be 93150 and 585 end pieces!
What's the serial number?
I could have the dial

That doesn't make sense. Why would they put a 9315 in VG condition on the watch when the 9315 is worth more than what a NEW 93150 costs?

Maybe lack of knowledge of privious owner...anyway...maybe it came that way.....could have been picked up at a later state. Not everybody knows that a 9315 in great condition should fetch more because itīs considered vintage.....it still does the job.

So it should be a double red sea-dweller... as white ones did not wear 9315!

1665 Asking Price

I was out of town, so I was not looking at the post. Thanks for all of the information. The watch looks brand new to me. I may let it go depending on what my home improvements are going to run me. I have not been on here long enough to post a sell item. Does anyone have a suggestion if I do try to sell the watch. This would be one tough one to let go.

Thanks,
CGC
