B200 Jubilee for DJ 1601?

I saw this auction for a really nice looking jubilee band (old style).
It looks like a B200 band.

Link is here:

I really like the clasp design and I was thinking of fitting it on my Datejust 1601 (1968).

I have 3 questions which I hope one of you rolex experts can answer:

1) Does this look authentic? Is there a terrible risk of getting a fake? The seller has good feedback but that can be manipulated. Some advice would be appreciated.

2) If the band is real, is the price more or less acceptable or is it a rip-off? It seems just under half that of a new one.

3) Would this look out of place on my '68 DJ? I mean was it originally fitted to models from that approximate period, or is it much later? I don't want the watch to look like Frankenstein

Thank you for any advice!

Real or Fake Jubilee band?

Am quite interested in this bracelet - anyone have an idea if it's real or fake? Or is it impossible to tell?

If you want advice on e-bay bids, you should post in the Watch Out Board..

Today I went for service to Rolex and learned that,my bracelet (jubilee old style) is very loose,so that is likely to break,i ask the price and in Athens is 420 euro for jubilee and 440 euro the oyster style 440euro
I write this because is it worn

Thanks, that's very useful - I thought it was closer to 500 euro over here. Maybe it's worth waiting a bit until the next service and replacing my band then.

On the other point of my question, would the B200 bracelet (at least I think that's the model based on the post on bracelets in RolexTech forum), be a logical match with a '69 DJ?

Does anyone know from which period is it (approximately) and was it ever fitted on 1601 models? Or does that stuff not matter when it comes to bracelets, because people just fit whatever they like?

Have you thought about an aftermarket oyster and fitting your endlinks and clasp?

That's what I did with my '68.

That would be ideal if I could just find a clasp like yours!

I think that the 200 Jubilee is a very early model and would likely have been on the very early 50's DJ's.. Depending on the endlinks, it would probably fit, but may not be period correct..

I would thinkk that the correct bracelet would be a folded link Jubilee 1651...

Thanks a lot for that information!

I've actually seen a few on sale dated 1965 (assuming that info is corect), but I'll stick to the later folded links one anyway.

It's best to get the best example.. Condition is paramount on bracelets that old..
There was plenty of carryover in years used for most bracelets.......
