I had constructed my SS Datejust into a TT Datejust during the Ultimate Transformation post. I decided to go cheap on the band and purchased a top plated TT jubilee. I felt that I still wanted to save some money, so I purchased an italian TT genuine gold and steel jubilee band. I have finally completed my project. I wanted the watch to be true real yellow gold and stainless steel. I have achieved my goal.

Do you still have the original clasp from the original bracelet? If so, you could use that as it would have all the rolex markings...

Each to his own, Mikey, but can't say that is something I would do. Putting a TT bracelet on an SS watch just doesn't seem to be the way to go.

But, hey, it's your watch. If you like it, who am I to argue. Enjoy it.

I sold my 2 USA Jubilee Bands, so I had to start from scratch. I actually won one on ebay. It should be here next week. I was going to switch out the entire clasp with the Rolex crown and inner markings.

Rock, my serial numbers on the case are the only indication of my watch origins of Steel. My watch is 100% TT Datejust. The Rolex clasp is coming next week.

Can you tell the difference in Quality between the two? Is the Rolex one heavier and what not . . . ?

Is it that easy to change bracelets?

Thanks for guys for the encouragement! The gold one is heavier than the plated one I was using. The new band will accept the Rolex clasp (modern) D-link. From what I see I have to unroll a main bar by sliding it thru insert the Rolex clasp place the main bar thru and tighten down real tight. The other end is push the bar pin in the adjustment holes and I am done.
