Rose vs Blue vs Green

Hey guys,

Recently I made a post on what your thoughts were on me trading my rose Daytona on oysterflex for a yellow gold GMT with a green dial + cash my way. The reason I want to sell my daytona is that I prefer a solid braclet over the rubber band.

Out of curiosity, I visited my AD to see what else was being offered at their location and asked if they had the YG GMT with green dial in stock. They didn't at the time but offered to show me some other watches that might interest me.

They pulled out the YG Submariner with the blue dial and then they pulled out the new solid Everose GMT.

Honestly I never had any interest in the Everose model since it's release from seeing pictures or watching videos on youtube. I can honestly say that pictures and videos don't do the watch any justice. You need to see this thing in front of you. It on another level!

The blue dialed Sub is also truly amazing with how the light can change the tone of the dial and overall look of the watch which is something I really do enjoy.

Since seeing both of those watches I don't know which watch to choose and I need your guys help

My current collection includes:

1) SS Submariner Ceramic with date,
2) SS Datejust 41 with fluted bezel and jubilee, Slate Wimbledon dial
3) Day Date 40 Yellow Gold, silver dial and gold romans

4) (TRADING/SELLING) Everose Daytona on Oysterflex, chocolate dial, Arabic numbers

What are your guys thoughts?

Do I choose

1) Yellow Gold GMT with green dial 116718LN
2) Yellow Gold Submariner with Blue Dial 116618LB
3) Everose GMT 126715CHNR

Rose vs Blue vs Green

CHNR —

I suspect you’re going to get a lot of votes for the LB —- but...

You’ve got the YG covered (with the Day-Date) - you’ve got the Sub covered — you’ve got a DJ - which every collection needs — the GMT function in RG to me is the obvious compliment to a great collection.

Look forward to seeing what you choose!!

personally i'm not a fan of the chnr so for me it'd be between the bluesy and yg gmt but it'd be a tough decision. would probably go with the bluesy because of the dial but i'd have to see the green on the gmt in person as i assume it would look almost black under a lot of lighting

I suggested the YG Gmt before but now that you are also looking at the new Everose version that could change things. I've never seen it in person, you did and it's your choice. I still think the yellow/green is a killer piece that is timeless. You can't go wrong. Serious choice, heavy hitters. Happy Choosing!!

For the sake pf variety the Green dialed GMT would fit but if it were for me, I'd go with the Blue dialed Sub. Happy hunting

I voted for the bluesy, b/c it's awesome. One of the best watches made, IMO.

Then I would try to snag the TT version of the CHNR, so you get sort of get best of both worlds.

I agree, with what I have, the rose gmt is the logical choice

Chnr, especially if you are getting rid of the RG Daytona.

Why are you dumping the Daytona? That seems like a great watch!!!! Of the three you're looking at I'd go for the CHNR. If ever rose is the problem that obviously isn't a viable choice.

It's a great looking watch, I just prefer a bracelet over the rubber band

Not a fan of the LB or the sub/gmt cases in yellow gold. I’d get the everose Daytona on the bracelet or the full rose GMT

I prefer the blue sub, but the CHNR would fit your collection better.

The green dial YG GMT is my least favorite YG model.

I think you need some color, go blue or go home.

I like the YG Subc the most of all PMs, the CHNR didn't work for me, prefer it in TT, so I'd get the YG Subc and trade the SS Sub to a SS GMTc or BLNR.
