Incoming 15400ST Blue Dial

Hi Everyone, finally the AP bug has bitten and I have been offered a Royal Oak 41mm Blue Dial as the I person it was intended for declined (lucky me!). Picking it up on Monday at the AP HQ!

I havent actually tried a 41mm on. the 39mm felt too small so 'm hoping this will be just right. I have heard from many people that they feel the 41MM was too big for them. I normally wear a ceramic two tone submariner, or a steel sub or GMT. The RO covers a wider area on the wrist but I think it being thinner makes it more balanced.

If there are any RO 41MM owners out there who wish to share their views and experience I would be most grateful!

I personally prefer the 39mm (15202 or the 15300) over the 15400 (41mm) and the 15450 (37mm). Highly recommend you try those on before getting the 41mm or the 37mm RO. The 15400 felt big and the 15450 felt too small on my ~6.75 wrist. I recently bought a blue AP Chrono 26331, also a 41mm, while I wait for my jumbo to arrive next year. Interesting enough, the Chrono wears smaller than the 15400 to me. - I think it’s due to slightly wider bezel and the three sundials.

Congratulations! I have a 6.75”-7” wrist depending on the weather and I’d say my wrist is pretty flat and feel the 15400 wears right for me. I really enjoy wearing it!

I love the 15400. Particularly the ST.

7” wrist

Great choice - it’s a lovely watch.

Regarding sizing - on my wrist, the 15400 felt too big for me. 39mm RO is much better.

And the 42mm ROO sits somewhere in between those two.

I found the 15300 too small

The roo too big and the 15400 just right. I have a 7" wrist, 5'9", 160 lbs

Have a similar wrist as you and also recently got a 15400 blue. Beautiful watch but too big for me. 39mm is the perfect size for RO for my wrist.

15400 definitely wears bigger than 40mm Rolexes.
