First Panerai eBay find

Story goes that I foundd this one on eBay as a buy it now for $400. Unbelievable? Well the seller traded a bunch of vintage watches for this. Seller looked up and thought it was a fake; so he listed it as a buy it now cheap. I am new but looked for the tells of fake. I didn't see the common mistakes so I bought it rather quickly. I received the watch and took pictures for a collector and watchmaker who have seen numerous and they said it's good. I then brought to my watchmaker who said it was good. Watchmaker removed balance and took pictures for me. I passed these pictures on to former cheif engineer Mario Paci who also forwarded them to be looked at. Conclusion was that this Panerai is good. Given the purchase price and story from seller after I received; I was very sceptical until having confirmed by those who would know. Should I play the lottery?

I question that movement pic. I had a g series and these pics are not definitive. It looks off to me.

Pictures are not very clear but the canon pin does not look flush. The crown guard pin should be flush as well.

A very expensive lottery to play I must say. Take the bull by the horn if you must but expect anything
