Monster of the deep, Seiko M726

Taking on from my other fascination with watches, vintage digitals, I came across one that proved irresistble.

This NOS condition monster of the deep, that I chanced upon a while ago, though fugly, has something special that drew me to it. This is much like the Ploprof of the digital world, chunky and a hardcore tool, billed as the worlds first dive computer watch of it's time.

Reference: M726
Year: 1990ish
Features: Feature packed with a built-in Electronic depth guage, Time/Alarm, Depth, Average depth, Repetitive dive, Diving time, No-Decompression limits, Surface interval time, No-Decompression limits warning, Rapid ascent warning, Warning against flying, Communication beep, Dive table and Log data. Water resistant to 200 Mt.

I will let the pictures do the talking, hope you'll enjoy it,

Thanks

One person's fugly is another's super cool!

That's a terrific find. You certainly don't see one of those everyday.
