Larry has taken the lead on reserving tables for us. One of them is under my name. When I called to make the reservation, they mentioned we are getting there around opening so there shouldn’t be a problem getting the reserved tables next to each other.

Can’t wait to see that 15400 in the flesh!

There are three tables that will hold six people. There are other tables that are close by that will hold four.

Joey and I have reserved two of the six person tables. I have PM’d Wes to reserve the third. I have not heard back from him.

That will give us plenty of room.

No, it is usually annual. I am trying for semi-annual.

Semi-annual sounds good to me.
Just don't make the next GTG too close to WIS-CON 2019. I wouldn't want to OD on too many watches.....on second thought....it's impossible to OD on too many watches.

Hey all,

I won’t be joining you guys today. I got the stomach flu on Thursday and I am still recovering. This is really lousy timing. I’m so bummed!

Take lots of pics and have a great time.

Wes

Dang, that sucks, Wes! Definitely something going around. Get better!

There is a good chance I can make it now (totally unrelated to Wes being sick). Still a seat free for me to join?

Thanks, again to Larry and Wes for getting this going! Sorry you couldn't make it Wes (feel better). Also, thanks to everyone who contributed the sweet swag!
It was cool meeting some of you and now having a name and story to go with the posts.

A big thanks to Larry and Wes (we missed you, Wes - hope you’re feeling better).

It was a fantastic turnout. Lots of watch talk coupled with good food, and most importantly, great people. It was so nice to meet many new TRF members, and as you’d expect, it was a group of not only watch enthusiasts, but fun and interesting people from different walks of life.

Thanks to all who showed up; it made for a great day.

It really was great to finally meet some of the people here from TRF! Thank you Larry for being a gracious and accommodating host. Also, a huge thanks to all those who donated prizes for the giveaways! Great times with even better people! Looking forward to having these GtG’s again!

Thank you Larry and Wes for planning yesterday’s GTG and thank you to everyone who graciously donated donated the raffle prizes! The Lange and Vacheron catalogues are already part of my stack of watch coffee table books back at home.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone at yesterday’s event. Good people, food, drinks, conversations, and last but not least - watches! Nothing more we could ask for!

Looking forward to the next one!

Apologies for not being able to attend but pending any (more) work schedule conflicts, I’ll attend the next one.

We had a great GTG with a lot of interesting watches and people!

We had 14 people show up and Richard and Sheldon provided a plethora of goodies.

Sheldon also gave me enough Wrist Clean that everyone got at least one bottle.
Our resident watch expert, watch repairer, and jeweler, Peter Schuler thinks very highly of it and uses it.

The food, as usual was very good, as well as the service.

I hope everyone had a good time, I know I did!
