Seiko hitting the right notes

Got the chance to take a look at a few pieces that have recently caught my attention.

I own the last one, the diver. Seiko really has some great blue watches. Save the Ocean comes to mind. Blue Lagoon, the GSs. Nice Presages!

SBDC053 (Blue Dive Watch) is amazing.

I've been wearing it for the last week on a proprietary Seiko Oyster Bracelet with polished centre links and Diashield coating so the polished centre links are very resilient to scratches.

Amazingly the watch out the box is + 1 second in a week!
Most accurate Seiko ever.

Here is my choice.

SBDC053.jpg

Not great lighting, but the blue dial and bezel insert are a pleasure to the eyes.

The lume is a torch when charged, and lasts all night.

The watch works much better for me on a bracelet.

The new shippo enamel dials are very nice. If the name on the dial is one of the high-end Swiss brands it will cost at least 5X.

It should be noted that the SBDC053 is part of Seiko's homage range of watches to the 62mas.

The SBDC053 is brilliant with a Seiko proprietary bracelet.

Bang for buck this watch may well just be the best in the world.

The movement is +1 second after 1 week.

I would advise do not overlook this watch.
