I heard about the 5711 rumor but not the 5712. Would you happen to have the source and the info for that one?

I think the source of the rumors very likely could be found to originate from dealers asking $75k+ for a 5712 and $80k for a 5711.

I mean... so what if it’s discontinued? The 6000g was replaced by the 6006g and the look 99% identical. The Daytona 116520 was replaced by the 116500 and they look kinda similar except for the bezel. Old things get replaced by newer ones. I don’t see why we need to pay over the top money to buy something that’s about to be phased out.

Certainly had more of a run than the 3712. Can’t do much more to it movement wise. It’s perfect. But I think it may be time to call a day on it and introduce a new 5712 for limited time only. Then they can concentrate on ramping up the 5726 blue dia till it too is discontinued. An expansion of 5990 offering seems likely to help replace. (/speculation)

agree with above, movement is serviceable well into the future.
would be a nice throw back if they returned to the monocoque case.

By limited Ed. 5712 thinking of a full rose gold version for one or two years then done. Perfect way of ending a beautiful ref.

There is a 5711 now online for 92K. Says its is unworn, but the market may sense something.

Surprise...It’s EWC. I’m not trying to disparage these guys as they clearly take care of customers and have a great reputation. But honestly, I am dumbfounded as to who buys there. Their prices are, across the board, insane. On everything. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Guys, mad or not if that price are there means someone buy. Maybe not exactly that much but in that ballpark.

Crazy asking prices for a SS watch which is not better than Rolex Submariner. Good luck for Patek 57 lowers. 15202st looks bargain when compared to 5711.

I just got my 5711 so I'am ok with it getting discontinued lol. But I've been hearing about this for 2 years now. I am sure they will update the movement.

I agree with this, however it’s hard to compare an Aquanaut vs. a Nautilus.

When does PP normally announce the discontinued models? Is it expected also to happen this year?
