Day date 18238

The watch is real just the bracelet feels quite light, I know 18238 has hollow links. I have been wearing deepsea and AP offshore so used to heavier watches. Just checking if bracelet looks ok to you guys. There is hardly any stretch in it either, thanks.

Looks good to me. The 18238 does feel light compared to other watches. I went from a 116618 sub and thought the same thing!

The blades of the clasp are made from red gold if original.

4 and 5 digit President bracelets are all lightweight. I had mine overhauled and filled up with 18K gold. Feels heavy now

How did you get that done? I have a 18238 as well and wouldn't mind feeling the heavier weight.

I had considered purchasing the bracelet from a 118238 but the going rate was around $4000 to $5000. Did your "overhaul" come anywhere close to that?
