Incoming.... Visconti

I've been waiting for this for a while... A fraction of costs to Steve's Gold dragon. Finally on the day when I'm sick at home, it arrived to cheer me up

Opening the package I found a wooden box. Opening the box I see:

3 pens with different celluloid colours.

18k gold medium nibs.

It is called Visconti Pontevecchio, made in 1995, it is a LE of 1345 sets. see:
http://www.visconti.it/museum/scheda.php?idelemento=75

Currently I'm trying to confirm that the info on the Visconti museum website is wrong, that the pens are all Cartridge/convertor fillers and not piston filler as noted in the website.

Wow, for a pick-me-up that's even better than more cowbell. Those pens are absolutely gorgeous! How many pens do you own?

Jeez, I hate you Kai.

They are stunning pens and excellent pix as usual.

Now I want some pens.

I NEED a pen.

Badly.

Thanks Eddie
Earning your hate is a big compliment
Since you live in the sticks called Adelaide, they do have a good pen shop (rather unbelievable really) - 29 Adelaide Arcade, Adelaide. 08-8223 3725. I've yet to buy from them but from what I've heard, they are pretty knowledgeable.

BTW I'd gladly swap my pen collection with your Rolex collection

Hi Shangas, good to see you here!
The Ripple has their "Double Reservoir Power Filler" - basically it's a plunger.
See the description here:
