It certainly is a bit top heavy. Not a daily wearer for me - maybe a couple of times a week and on special outings. The rest of the time I find my Batman more comfortable.

Couldn't one replace the white dial for a blue dial at RSC? I think the fee for the dial swap would be much less than the premium you'd pay for a blue SkyD?

One more comment, and most folks here wont’ agree with it- the longer I wait for the watch the more I think I may like wanting the watch more than I may like actually owning the watch. If I’m not alone in this, Rolex’s shortage issue may backfire on them.

Amazing how the disks on these SD change with the light. I wonder to what degree the black one fluctuates.

For sure there is always that risk but if you like blue dials then this really is a stunner, the sunburst effect really pops. It is a top heavy watch but you quickly get used to it...

It is top heavy. Wore my SD yesterday for a special day and was happy to put my Batman back on today for some pool action.

As it relates to color (in the SD case white, black and blue) I really have come to the belief that there is no perfect or ideal color. I think the white as a whole is more elegant. I think the blue pops really nicely, maybe more so than white or black. And the black - well most of us with the sports models have been quite happy with black for decades. In other words you can’t go wrong.

PS - wearing my white SD on Easter Sunday made it the perfect color for me. God bless you all.

I haven’t seen many SS sky D incomings. I’ve been told by more than 1 AD that Rolex considers the blue face a rare watch themselves and many dealers get 1-2 a year (supposedly). You will wait a long time my friend.

Why not get the white one, sell or trade it in and oay like 6k more and get the blue one from a grey. You won’t regret it and can take advantage of a premium on a new white face.

I would wait, the blue face will be worth it...not really a fan of the white dial on this reference.

I love the white. Was offered the white but decided to wait for blue. Either way you will love it. My blue brother says hello

I am convinced the beauty of the white dial cannot be properly illustrated in pictures. I have not seen the Blue, but if it is the same colour/effect as the blue DJ36, it is beautiful, but white is nicer.

I had my choice of all three colors and went with white. Honestly I don't understand the blue fascination nor Rolex' desire to make it scarce. To them it's just dye.

I just called the Dallas RSC and they will not change the dial on the Sky Dweller, even to one currently an option.
