I found it to be too top heavy. Maybe the bracelet is to small for the case.

Been wearing a d-blue for a few months as a daily wearer (suits on weekdays and jeans the rest). LOVE IT! I guess it's all about wrist shape, etc but I find it more comfortable than a SD 4000 ( that seemed more top heavy on my wrist) and much more "substantial" than a sub/GMT (particularly 5 digit versions)

[QUOTE=docjamal;5453311]Hi all... does anyone who comes from a submariner find this actually too bulky as a daily wearer?
I find the height slightly uncomfortable. Mine is only twelve months old, and new sub date is a possibility. However I will be pocketing a difference of only 800usd equivalent. So am wondering whether I should give the more exclusive watch another chance. Opinions and thoughts please? i am bothered not just by the bulk but also the weight...it has a tendency to flop around, looks like i will just damage it by getting it banged up so easily..good thing i found this one out by using a friend's watch for a day..its still a nice watch, nice to have one in the collection but maybe not as a daily wearer, maybe if i am a big guy it will fit me well |

i have recently bought the deepsea with the blue face ( the james Cameron Model) and as much as i love it i am beginning to think it is too heavy as well as so large. i USED to OBLY wear 46 & 48 mM models . but since i started purchasing Rolex Model Watches i rally have bought anything above 42MM and i think its been hard to go back to such a heavy watch!! i may be trading this for something else as much as i love the face and style!! but being comfortable is really a priority to me!!)

No regrets at all, nearly 5 years of ownership and wear it most of the time. Including for saturation diving so its had a hard life! Well, it was designed for it!

I would agree with Tom that it is better in a rotation than alone. It is an awesome reference and can be the sole watch but you will yearn for smaller references on occasion. I don't regret buying mine and I love wearing it.
