Genuine??

Got this as part of a trade with a dealer. Not into wearing watches with leather straps much but it was included in sale. Apparently Rolex makes these as gold plated or they did at one time. this is supposed to be a genuine gold plated one. So I ask is it genuine? Seems to not have enough markings? Or am I mistaken?

I have a genuine lizard Rolex strap that I bought from my AD around 1994, and it has that type of clasp except on the back it says "Rolex" in the upper right hand corner and I think it's 14K.

Gold plating = almost worthless.

Yah, I don't think the tang would be sliding back and forth, no expert but I think it was fixed in the middle of the buckle

Tang pin is a completely different color gold. Suggests they weren't born together.....
