Incoming: 2018 new style Datejust 36!!

Worked out a deal with DavidSW to get the new from Basel 2018 Datejust 36mm 126231 on stainless and Everose gold. I absolutely love this watch! The have done an amazing job slimming down the lugs. It looks more sleek and less bulky now. I feel like they tried bringing back the slimmer lug style like they used to have, but also keeping it refreshed and modern. My first Everose piece, and I have to say it’s a stunner. Everose is not overbearing and in some lighting it blends right in with the steel. Much less blingy than yellow gold in my opinion too.

Below are some pics that I tried taking to capture the new style of this piece. The pics, though, do not do it one bit of justice.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'd love for Rolex to go to this dial on all DJ's and do away with the small roman chapter ring.

And the thinner lugs look great as well. Congrats on a winner.

The DJ41 is actually 39mm so that's very close to what you want.

39.52 to be exact, and wears more like a 40mm.

As much as I like the new DJ41, the 36 simply is better proportioned. Beautiful watch Congratulations

It's very cool that Rolex have done this, and it looks great. Although I've never had an issue with the lugs of my 2006 116200, it's always been a favourite of all my watches. I still love its design.
