Anybody have an opinion on what a 1967 Rolex 1675 "Pepsi" with matte dial that has a small GMT hand with box and papers would fetch these days? In very good condition.

Thanks

I suggest being a lot more specific with pictures and start a new thread for this inquiry. There are a lot of factors which go in to evaluating vintage and this forum is incredibly generous and if you want the experts to chime in include as much information (quality pictures are a must) as you can.

As for the watch you've described, there are not a lot of them out there with the combination small hand/matte dial. I am pretty sure that would require a Mark 0 dial which is uncommon...

I just saw Dustin Hoffman in the 1976 Maraton Man movie. Pepsi GMT shots galore, until he pawns it off to the cab driver. Turns out Hoffman wore a pepsi in a lot of his movies!!

Awesome watch acf321, Congrates.

Recently picked up this 1967 Rolex 1675 full set, matte dial with small GMT hand (transitional model from gilt to matte dials, the very first matte dials got a small GMT hand before changing to the big GMT hand).

I worked out the thing about 1675's when I changed the date from 16 to 31......

Still, a very very beautiful thing.

Just back from seeing J Bourne nail a few more 'asset's' where my Wife looking over at the watch said to me; "i'm actually a bit jealous, that watch is absolutely beautiful, I want you to get me something as nice..."

The obsession continues....

And you should grant her wish. My wife's current favourite is a 1962 WG day-date I bought her recently, but she likes swap around every few months, so I'll be wearing it on a different strap at some stage. She also likes to wear the root beer. It's nice to share!

I'll be doing a writeup of the initial experience. I have worn a 16610 every day since 1998. The GMT is a VERY different proposition, both aesthetically but also physicall. Sits very neatly and flush on the wrist, is also lighter.... I am LOVING this thing!!

That depends on the year of your 1675 and the country it was sold in.
